Specialist Associate (Audio/Visual), Faculty of Law
Location: West

Responsibilities:

You will provide audio-visual, multi-media and IT support for the Faculty of Law (FOL), National University of Singapore at the NUS Bukit Timah Campus.

Your primary duties include operation and maintenance of audio-visual, multi-media and IT equipment and software to support the FOL, video recording of events and lectures, supporting distance learning sessions, and providing ad-hoc support for MICE events.

In addition, you will also need to manage and maintain the inventory of audio-visual, multi-media and IT assets in FOL and also be involved in evaluating and acquiring new audio-visual, multi-media and IT hardware and software for FOL’s instructional facilities.


Requirements:
Diploma in Information Technology, Audio-Visual Technology, Digital Media or related technical fields
ITE graduates in similar fields are also encouraged to apply
3 to 5 years of work experience in related fields
Good audio and video capture knowledge and in image/video editing tools, working experience in a similar industries will be an added advantage
Proficient in integrating computers with audio-visual and multi-media systems

IT Executive

Job Description:
IT Executive
Location: Suntec


Responsibilities:
IT Support (Network/PC)
Manages day-to-day internal client interaction.
Resolve PC / Hardware and Software issues.
First level support for IT end users and remote service user (help desk function). Including setup, configuration and problem solving for desktop users of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook software (English /Korean).
Remote site via net meeting.
Diagnosing LAN connectivity problems, ensuring remote users can access systems (Check routers and switches).
Administration and maintenance / creation of user accounts on mail and file servers, creation / deletion of accounts, password resets, etc.
Assist and setup Video conference for users.
Emergency recovery of Server room down (Power failure / Aircon down / Routers or switches down / server down).
Assets Management
Assets counting on a quarterly basis.
Coordinate asset counting for office and service centre.
Write-off office assets.
Update department information in System.
Verify and check the status of office assets
Overall management for asset (example - tagging, assign asset to user)
Hardware/software sourcing / IT Projects / Mobile lines Management
Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products
Manages the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies at the local level.
Maintenance the structured cabling systems, routers and switches.
Installation and configuration of software and hardware on desktop systems, including printers, scanners, networking, virus protection, installation of security patches and bug fixes to ensure desktop systems are up to date.
Management of all software to ensure that only licensed software are in use.
Handle / undertake of ad-hoc IT projects implementation as required single handed without supervision (AD implementation, PC plus, Router / Switches upgrade, exchange outlook migration, etc)
Manage security server. Ensuring all user system are install with security program to prevent unworthiness data outflow.
Manage all mobile lines for office.
Negotiate with all Telecom to source for best deal on corporate plan
Ensured all these mobile lines are accounted and locate at the correct user / department


Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in IT / relevant field or higher.
Knowledge on basic LAN/WAN networking infrastructure is preferred.
Knowledge on MS office, Lotus Notes, Win XP, Vista etc is a MUST.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL preferred.
Able to troubleshoot and resolve all technical problems with minimum supervision.
Able to provide Helpdesk level support over phone / email / onsite.
Experienced in installation, setup, configuration, migration, upgrading and maintenance of server, desktop PC, OS, software and related peripherals.
Possess good communication skills, meticulous and organized in your work, and be able to work well with tight deadlines.
Fluent in English and Mandarin. Third language is an added advantage.
Can commence work immediately or within short notice.

Responsibilities:
Lead in the planning and project management of new or existing value-added services, including technology selection, capacity planning, service rollout and service performance improvement, etc
Work with stakeholders in Product Development, Marketing and Engineering in requirements compilation and clarification, and lead in discussions on new emerging technologies
Perform technical and financial feasibility studies on potential new value-added systems, in particular mobile applications, content and media services
Lead in preparation of tender specifications, evaluation of tender from both a technical and commercial standpoint, and project manage the implementation of value-added systems
Engage in commercial and technical negotiation with existing and potential vendors
Engage regional counterparts to identify and realise cost and operational synergies
Manage vendor(s) during the project implementation
To carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors


Requirements:
Degree in Engineering majoring in Computer Science, IP networking or telecommunications/mobile communication
Working experience in computer networking or the telecommunications industry, especially in the role of project coordinator/project manager. Preference will be given to candidates with project management certifications such as CAPM, PMP, CITPM and/or Agile software development framework.
Basic knowledge of telecommunications technologies, including GSM, GPRS, 3G, HSDPA. Knowledge of value-added services such as mobile charging solutions including the postpaid and prepaid, WAP, short-messaging service, mobile gaming, or mobile commerce applications is an advantage
Knowledge of mobile applications ecosystems, smart phones, tablets and mobile OS platforms will be an advantage

Supervise local computer room operation to make sure IT infrastructure is reliable and secured
Assist the Client Services Manager to manage the Local IT team and Local IT services
Perform 3rd level support and troubleshooting of computer software and hardware that involve remote access, IT vendor coordination and/or onsite
Maintain and administer Microsoft Windows based servers & workstations, printers, other computer equipment and peripheral
Develop and maintain system documentations and inventories

Responsibilities:
Provide 1st level of trouble shooting for any desktop or Network to users.
