Job Description:
Senior / Research Engineer – Workstation & System Administrator
Location: Science Park II
Responsibilities:
Maintain Sun/Linux Hardware and support Unix and Linux Operating Systems (Solaris 8 & above, Red Hat 4 & above)
Manage Disk Array system & Veritas Netbackup
Support network management services such as NIS+ & LDAP
Support and procure hardware such as workstations & peripherals
Maintain licenses and LSF setup, install and upgrade software
Requirements:
Master/Bachelor in Computer Engineering
Possess more than 2 years of relevant experience
Good troubleshooting skill in UNIX and Linux applications
Proficient in scripting language like perl/sed and familiar with EDA tools such a Cadence, Agilient, Synopsys would be an advantage
A good team player and service oriented person
