Senior System Engineer (Baan / Database Administrator)

Job Description:
Provide technical support to servers on Baan, Oracle, Sybase and MS SQL database.
Perform installation, administration, maintenance, tuning and trouble-shooting of Baan ERP application and databases (Oracle 9i/10g, Sybase, MS SQL 2000/2005).
Maintain and monitor all EDI transactions and related software.
Maintain up-to-date patch management and version control on all related database.
Assist in maintaining high quality of systems administration
Provide prompt & efficient end user support.
Maintain information security by ensuring database security and conformance to SOX and Siemens Security policy.

Requirements:
Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Information Technology with 5 years experience support in databases like Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL.
Minimum 5 years experience supporting Baan ERP application.
Candidates with Certified Oracle Administrator / Professional certification will be an advantage.
Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
Process oriented with high level of initiative.
