Job Description:
-Duration: 4 Months
-Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining and updating web applications using mainly Java Core, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JSF, related class libraries, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, DAO-IBATIS framework & Apache Tomcat
Responsible for various duties like troubleshooting, problem solving and modifying computer applications
Responsible for maintenance of MySQL database, web application and generation of reports
Work in a project team and handle team and end-user requests and provide solutions
Keen to learn with a positive attitude
Ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related discipline
1 year experience in a J2EE project as a Developer/Programmer for one SDLC
Possess strong skills in programming concepts, implementation, testing and troubleshooting
Knowledgeable in database design and implementation with working knowledge of HTML and CSS
Experience in AJAX, DHTML and familiar with the latest JRE Class libraries, using IBATIS - DAO framework and proficient with Apache Tomcat 6
Able to handle tight project deadlines, work independently and resourceful
Excellent verbal, written communication skills and ability to handle end-users effectively
High degree of motivation, flexibility and reliability, target orientated and well organized
