Job Description:
IT SUPPORT DUTIES:
To oversee and ensure smooth operations of the IT Support Team
To guide existing team members in terms of technical expertise in IT
To manage feedback from staff and students and ensure customer satisfaction
To install and configure new and replacement PCs
Upgrade software & service packages
Apply and keep track of all the software licenses acquired by the School and install them onto the computers
Liaise with external vendors to layout/activate/patch network and telephone points
Purchase new PCs, notebooks, printers and other IT accessories
Troubleshoot system and network systems
Troubleshoot PCs, notebooks and all hardware problems
Provide Blackberry support/ IP Telephone support
To prepare & execute preventive maintenance for IT equipment
AV SUPPORT DUTIES:
To oversee and ensure smooth operations in AV Support
To guide existing team members in terms of technical expertise in AV
To manage feedbacks on AV matters and ensure user satisfaction
Prepare and setup audio visual equipment for Public Lectures, Seminars & Workshops
Video recording of seminars and events
Maintenance of AV equipment in all the School's facilities
Liaise with vendors to rectify faculty equipment and for the purchase of replace AV equipment
To carry out preventive maintenance for AV equipment
Requirements:
Advanced Diploma, Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
2 years' working experience in similar capacity & industry
Familiarity with the Public sector procurement guidelines will be useful
Good communication skills
