.Net Developer

Job Description:
-Report to the regional team lead
-Interact closely with traders to develop, enhance and support critical trading and related systems
-Interact with all areas of front office trading systems including pricing, execution, trade capture, order, position and risk management
-Assist in design and the development of systems within a Service Oriented Architecture
-Investigating and resolving day to day support issues and BAU tasks
-Working within a globally distributed team and adhering to standard change, development and quality assurance methodology


Requirements:
1) Essential
Exceptional C#.NET Development Skills
Performance Critical GUI development experience
Robust development experience in complex multithreaded C#.NET environments
Strong understanding of overall .NET Development
Strong SQL skills preferably with exposure to MS SQL Server and Sybase
Strong fundamental understanding of Object Oriented design and common design patterns

2) Preferable
Working knowledge of Java/J2EE would be advantageous
Strong understanding of open-source frameworks and libraries, especially Spring, NHibernate
Exposure to implementing and consuming Web Services
Exposure to continuous build and iterative development
Exposure to maintaining or developing IT systems that run in multiple time zones/regions

3) Professional requirements:
University degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
Working knowledge of Equity markets - equities, derivatives
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Proven track record working well under pressure to provide timely and accurate solutions to systems problems
Experience developing real-time trading systems would be advantageous
Proactive and flexible approach to work
